Publication of Lipid Technology moved from PJ Barnes & Associates to Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co KGaA in January 2007.

As in the past, Lipid Technology continues to be an international news and review journal presenting the latest developments worldwide in the science, technology, markets and commerce of oilseeds, fats, oils, and other lipids in biotechnology, food, agriculture, nutrition and pharmaceuticals. Lipid Technology also continues to publish Feature articles from leading experts, together with News stories and regular sections on Nutrition, Analysis, Research Highlights, and Market Reports on a monthly basis.

Wiley-VCH publishes for the scientific community, for scientific societies and for researchers, practitioners and students around the world. Founded in 1921 the company has a long history of publishing in the fields of chemistry, material science, physics and life sciences, and since 1996 has been part of the global John Wiley & Sons Inc group of publishers. Wiley-VCH publishes European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology, the official journal of the European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids (Euro Fed Lipid). For six years, Lipid Technology provided the News Ticker section of this journal.
