PJ Barnes & Associates announces that publication of Lipid Technologymoved from PJ Barnes & Associates to Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co KGaA in January 2007. PJ Barnes & Associates continues to publish books in the field of lipids and oils under the imprint `The Oily Press'.

As in the past, Lipid Technology continues to be an international news and review journal presenting the latest developments worldwide in the science, technology, markets and commerce of oilseeds, fats, oils, and other lipids in biotechnology, food, agriculture, nutrition and pharmaceuticals. Lipid Technology also continues to publish Feature articles from leading experts, together with News stories and regular sections on Nutrition, Analysis, Research Highlights, Patent Abstracts and Market Reports on a monthly basis.

Wiley-VCH publishes for the scientific community, for scientific societies and for researchers, practitioners and students around the world. Founded in 1921 the company has a long history of publishing in the fields of chemistry, material science, physics and life sciences, and since 1996 has been part of the global John Wiley & Sons Inc group of publishers. Wiley-VCH publishes European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology, the official journal of the European Federation for the Science and Technology of Lipids (Euro Fed Lipid). For six years, Lipid Technology has provided the News Ticker section of this journal and has maintained close contact with the journal's editorial staff.

With the move to Wiley-VCH, Lipid Technology benefits from close association with the European Journal of Lipid Science and Technology and from the leading online services offered by Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com). Lipid Technology continues to be available in print and electronic format but since 2007 the electronic version has been available online via the journal homepage at www.lipid-technology.com instead of being delivered as a PDF file by e-mail.
